IMAGE-MOUVEMENT features two major sections: an international exhibition starting December 9th, 2010 (until February 13th, 2011) and an intensive 4–day- forum of events from December 9th to 12th 2010.

The exhibition presents artists whose works challenge the notion of the image as a crystallization of truth. By adopting images deriving from real, fictive, documentary and biographic material, they speculate and destabilise, structure and reconfigure the moving image. Their practices are neither history nor non-history but emerge in a parallel space, born out of the critical debate surrounding cinema verité, televisual culture, the documentary, the archive, post colonial theory and the video essay.
